Muuramen griinien lähestyminen

Väylän pelaaminen reiästä päin

Pahoittelen, mutta lukijalle tämä voi olla tavallistakin tylsempi teksti.

Muurame 1 väylä.

Haluan lähestyä 100 metristä, mutta se vaatii erinomaista avausta väylän vasempaan reunaan, jossa pallo ei oikein helpolla pysy. Turvallisempi vaihtoehto on hyväksyä lähestyminen noin 140 metristä, jolloin pääskytörmä ja punkkeri jäävat pois pelistä.

Muurame 2 väylä

(Pitkien avausten harjoittelun jälkeen yritän päästä griinille toisella lyönnillä.) Huonolla avauksella pitää pelata par 5 tyyliin, jolloin lähestyminen voi olla a) 100m b) 60 metriä kallion puolelta tai c) 60 metriä raffista montun pohjalta. Ehkä mieluisin on 60 metriä kallion puolelta.

Muurame 4 väylä

Tämässäkin avaus mahdollisimman pitkälle. (Tosin lipusta 110 - 140 metriä on alamäkeä, joten siitä on huono lähestyä.)

Muurame 5 väylä

Muurame 6 väylä

Tämä on mukava tulla noin 100 - 120 metriä lipusta.

Muurame 7 väylä

Tulee pelattua helposti väylän 6 kautta ja noin 140 - 150 metriä lipusta. Griinille yltää, mutta vähän sokko lähestyminen. Ehkä pitää kokeilla 150 metriä väylältä?

Muurame 8 väylä

Par 3

Muurame 9 väylä

Tämän pelaaminen riippuu avauspaikasta, mutta lipulle jää 130 - 180 metriä ja aina kannattaa lyödä perille asti, koska vaarat vähenevät lähellä griiniä.

Muurame 10 väylä

Lähestymiseen lipulle jää 150 metriä ylämäkeen ja pieni griini. Harvoin onnistuu eli chippi - putti.

Muurame 11 väylä

Yritän lähestyä 100 metristä (ylämäkeen)

Muurame 12 väylä

Käytännössä lähestyminen on noin 140 metristä, mutta yksi maila pois.

Muurame 14 väylä

Tällä hetkellä kaljuun ylämäkeen ja kädet ristissä toivotaan, että pallo jää 100 metrin täppälle.

Muurame 16 väylä

Yritys on päästä 100 metrin täpälle, josta ehkä pitää lyödä sändillä...

Tälle reiälle olen revittänyt draiverilla. 100m täpällä on usein puu edessä, ettei pääse griinille. En tiedä mistä haluaisin lähestyä. Ehkä 130 metriä olisi turvallisin, että on tilaa kiertää tai ylittää puut, ja avaus olisi helppo rauta 5 lyönti?

Aika paljon on toiveissa 100 metrin täpältä tulla lipulle. Pitserin pitäisi olla kuumana...

Be open minded to learn golf - experiment!

Experiment, but only when training. I don't know if it's good to do on a round. It's not good to do in a competition:-) This truism comes from my latest experience. I had a discussion about a swing and I was sure that it's nothing like shopping wood with an axe - just an up and down movement with my arms. I tried it at the range - from my perfect backswing - I closed my eyes and let my arms drop -> result was a square contact to the ball! It was better on the video when shooting my face, but at the link is also a version shot from the target line. SWING I don't know how well the feeling of dropping my hands can be seen on the video, but for my it is important. In near future I will try to actively do the movement - not just let my hands go - this way I will be hitting the ball - and straight down the target line! By the way - I was dead sure that the idea of "Pulling" with my hip and dropping my arms would not work! BUT it did. I am clad that I had the ...

10 000 swings before spring

Just realized that if I do 100 swings a day, I can make 10 000 swings before the greens will open in Jyvaskyla, Finland. I can do the 10 000 swings, but probably I can hit only about 1000 golf balls. I visit the range only once a week. But if I use my shots carefully concentrate on each ball, I think that is enough to learn a solid, basic swing. I am sure that I know most of the basics. Now I just need to get the right touch and feel to the swing. Just a feeling about golf as a social game - it might be so that people are together, but still just concentrating on them self? We all have our own goals and play an individual game. So golf might resemble our society a lot more than I first realized. This must be why the game appeals to middle aged males like me. Also someone said that one should talk too much during a round - so that's easy/natural for Finns, too.
